Sixth Form Assessment Day – Wed 03 March 2010

The second assessment day of the academic year will take place on Wednesday 3rd March. In most subjects you will be given a 1 hour assessment. Your teachers should talk to you about what that will be involved. Your grades will be collected and be part of your end of team report which will be issued at Easter.

All exams will take place in the main hall. See dress code below.

You are responsible for making sure that you know when your exams take place and will need to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the exam.

There will be no sixth form lessons on during this day.

If you have clash please see Mr Walker before hand to arrange a time to catch up.

This a very important day and you need to prepare for these exams carefully. They are an important indication of your current performance.

6th Form Examination - dress code

Please note that you are required to come appropriately dressed to all examinations. Without being too prescriptive, the following is considered fitting:

  • Collared shirt / Blouse / jumper (not T shirt)
  • Trousers / skirt (not Jeans)
  • Shoes (not trainers or similar)

Please make sure that you are outside the venue and ready for your examination at least 10 minutes beforehand. Have the correct equipment and materials with you. Remember that in most exams you are allowed to use a calculator and in some, texts and notes are allowed. Mobile ‘phones, MP3 players and similar devices are NOT allowed in the exam room.
