Year 10 Work Experience/Alternative Learning Week

Well done to all year 10 students who are now close to completing their 2 weeks work experience placements.
Important information about returning to school on Monday 12th July...
Unless attending residential school trips, all Y10 students will be expected back in to school at 8.25am on Monday 12th July in full school uniform including equipment, planners and work experience folders. Students will be following an alternative curriculum this week that involves work experience debrief sessions and targeted deep learning sessions within departments aimed at boosting achievement before students return to year 11 in September.
If any students are hoping to remain on their work experience placement for a third week this is also something we encourage as they are able to use this as evidence in their CV’s to demonstrate their suitability for the work place. However this MUST be in agreement with the employer and the school must be notified in advance of July 12th.
