Admissions
We admit 210 students to Year 7 each year. In 2009 we received 464 applications for the school. Further information on the co-ordinated admissions process can be found in the London Borough of Sutton’s Admission to Secondary School Booklet. Copies of this booklet are available from your son’s Junior School.
Applications are ranked according to our admissions criteria, which is:
- Looked After Children
- Children with Social or Medical Needs
- Those with siblings at Carshalton Boys Sports College, at the time of application
- Distance from the home address of the student to the front entrance of the school
Our Open Evening will be on Wednesday 7th October 2009, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. You are warmly invited to tour the school, talk to students and staff and find out all aspects of life and work at Carshalton Boys Sports College.
We will also be holding tours every morning during the week commencing 21st September 2009. Tours will start at 9:30am and will end with an informal meeting with either the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.
If you are unable attend a tour during the scheduled dates detailed above, parents are welcome to contact the school to arrange a guided tour.
