Special Educational Needs

The SEN dept is led by the SENCO, Miss Morgan and consists of one other teacher and seven SEN teacher assistants.

The department supports over 100 students per week in withdrawals in small groups and one-to-one to address their learning difficulties.

The department also supports the SEN sets in class in all the main subjects and some others according to students’ needs.

We also provide exam support for those students who meet the criteria for exam concessions.

The SEN department run a homework club in W39 every day before school, at lunchtime and after school for students with SEN. We also run a general homework club at lunchtime in W35 and provide support in the LRC before and after school.
