On Thursday last week we had the pleasure of taking three year 12 students to Goldsmiths University to experience a day at a university and understand the application and decision process around UCAS.
After a motivational talk regarding how to choose a university we were split into two groups to have a taster session in either computing or art. Our boys decided to all take part in the computing workshop and threw themselves into coming up with new ways of implementing technology into our everyday lives.
The day included a fantastic opportunity to look around the university and mix with some undergraduates during lunch followed by a Q&A with the student support team and the student ambassadors who were responding to some very thorough questioning from the students present.
It was a fantastic opportunity for the boys involved and thoroughly informative for all the students involved.
