Admissions policy

CBSC 6^th Form aims to ensure equality of opportunity by providing a wide range of programmes that facilitate access and progression. It is our policy to operate an admissions' system which guides students onto appropriate programmes of study from which they are likely to benefit and which will enable them to fulfil their potential.

How to apply

Attend an open day

To discover more about your chosen courses and life in our 6^th Form. The Open Event for admissions September 2025, is on Wednesday 16th October 2024. 

Apply

There will be an application form at the bottom of this page. Please fill in the application and the 6^th form team will be in touch.

Reference Request

After we receive your application, we will contact your school for a reference.

Receive your offer
We will let you know as soon as possible what the status of your application is. All offers at CBSC are subject to achieving the relevant entry requirements.

Welcome events
If you receive an offer, you will be invited to attend welcome and transition events where you will get a real insight into life and your course at CBSC 6^th Form.

Advice day
Post-GCSE results advice is available on our 6^th Form Advice Day in August 2024. Come to the Advice Day to discuss your options if your results aren’t what you expected.

Enrolment and start of term
Following enrolment, you will be sent a starter pack which will outline the start of term arrangements.
